February 23, 2017, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM @ Courtroom/Council Chambers
City Council Meetings typically occur the 2d and 3d Thursday each month, although some months will have additional workshops and/or only one official meeting.
To make a request to appear on the agenda, contact the City Clerk for an agenda item request, fill out the interactive form at http://www.cityoftybee.org/formcenter/general-forms-5/city-council-agenda-item-request-45, or download the PDF version at http://www.cityoftybee.org/documentcenter/view/391.
Agenda requests are due a week prior to the meeting concerned. Any presentations or exhibits are also due at that time.
Agendas and Council packets are available for download, usually the Friday before the meeting, unless change requests have caused delays. Download from http://weblink.cityoftybee.org/weblink/0/fol/16/Row1.aspx, by finding the date of the meeting. Packets tend to be very large and take a long time (and a lot of mobile bandwidth!) so use caution before starting a download.

We’re all things NOLA this week! So, gals, make your way over to the Post for Elia Kazan’s steamy 1951 film classic, “A Streetcar Named Desire.”
It’s is the story of Blanche DuBois, a fragile and neurotic woman on a desperate prowl for someplace in the world to call her own. She moves in with her sister, Stella and her husband, Stanley, in New Orleans and you can only imagine what happens next in the volatile Kowalski household. It’s the Tennessee William’s classic that launched on Broadway and is now considered one of the best films ever made from a stage play. And it’s Marlon Brando in the role that made him a movie star. “Stella! Hey, Stella!”
Our monthly movie series for the ladies -- and guys with a heart -- promises to bring you the most endearing and enduring love stories, often with a little tragedy, to stir the emotions. For your $10 ticket you get a complimentary glass of wine a pack of hankies. You bring the shoulders to cry on!
