Savannah to Tybee Shuttle Service
Beginning March 4, 2019, transit service, operated by the Coastal Regional Commission (CRC), will be offered Monday - Saturday, except for designated holidays. The route will commence at the Savannah Visitor Center at 301 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, transport individuals to Tybee Island three times each day. The transport fare, per rider, is $10 for a one-way trip. times from Savannah will be at 8am, 1pm and 6pm to arrive at the Tybrisa/Strand Roundabout in downtown Tybee, and then in front of 35 Meddin Drive across from the Tybee Light Station. The return trips from Tybee to the Savannah Visitor Center will be at the Tybrisa/Strand Roundabout at 8:30am, 1:30pm, and 6:30pm. Please keep in mind that road conditions may cause delays. CRC holiday exemption days include New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
