[ARCHIVED] Warranty offer letter for sewer and water supply lines

Residents have begun receiving letters from the NLC's sewer and water supply line warranty. These letters are NOT directly from the City, BUT the program is, indeed, an offer authorized by City Council. We'll be providing further details early next week. At additional monthly costs, you will be able to buy, essentially, insurance under this home warranty program that will guarantee repairs if you have trouble with water or sewer lines at your home. Repairs for these sorts of issues can run anywhere from $700 to $6000, depending on exactly what is damaged and how much line needs to be replaced. City Council believes this program to be worthy of your consideration, but everyone's situation is unique. Please review your own finances and details of the program before making your decision. Again, those details can be found by following information in the letter, and we will provide a much more detailed description soon.

Our apologies for the confusion this letter is causing. It is NOT a scam.
