Governor Brian Kemp has ordered the flag of the United States and the flag of the State of Georgia be flown at half staff on all State buildings and grounds today, Dec. 10, 2020, in recognition of the Honorable George H. Carley, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Chief Justice Carley passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 and services are scheduled for Dec. 10.
