Mesquite Productions, Inc. will be prepping and filming for the television series “Panhandle” Tuesday, March 29 through Thursday, March 31.
"Panhandle" is a series about a wealthy, eccentric man who teams up with a female police officer to solve small town crimes.

Tuesday, March 29th
- Production’s Work Trucks will park at 501 Jones Avenue in designated grass area by TIFD and Memorial Park with path laid to Old School Building for production equipment carts.
- Crew will lay cable and prepare for filming.
- A location rep will be present to assure traffic flow safety along bike path.
- Mud Mats will be placed down to connect the YMCA parking lot at Butler and 5th street to the Bike Path.
- Work Trucks will stage on the pavement between the cafeteria and parking lot to unload, leaving a coned off path for patrons to enter and exit the Tybee YMCA.
FILMING DAY: Wednesday, March 30th
- Access to 5th Street to enter the YMCA will only be available from Butler Ave. and Lovell Ave. 5th Street will not be accessible from 2nd Ave and Jones Ave.
- The parking lot directly in front of the Old School Classrooms by the Fire Department will not be accessible for use on Wednesday only.
- Please use the lot at 5th St and Butler Ave. for parking there will be a coned off walking pathway provided to the YMCA.
- Filming is expected on 5th street btw Jones Ave. and Lovell Ave. from 7am to 1pm. Production will close down a lane on Jones Ave. between 5th Street and 6th Street. Officers will open for traffic when not filming.
- BIKE DETOUR ROUTE: 2nd Street to 6th Street to Lovell Avenue and then ride through the parking lot located at Butler and 5th Street. The production will have crew members positioned along the pathway for assistance.
Thursday, March 31st
- Production’s Work Trucks will park at 501 Jones Avenue in designated grass area by TIFD and Memorial Park with path laid to Old School Building for production equipment carts.

- A location rep will be present to assure traffic flow safety along bike path.
- Mud Mats will be picked up after crew has left the premises.
- Work Trucks will stage on the pavement between the cafeteria and parking lot to unload, leaving a coned off path for patrons to enter and exit the Tybee YMCA.
