The 33rd Annual Beach Bum Parade will be held Friday, May 20, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. The parade will follow an extended parade route, beginning at the North Beach parking lot, proceeding south along Butler Avenue and down Tybrisa Avenue to Strand Avenue.
Please note the following traffic impacts:
- Friday, May 20, 2022: No parking on Butler Avenue from the Hwy. 80 curve to Tybrisa, or on Tybrisa from Butler to Strand.
- Parade route will close one hour before the 6:30 p.m. start time or slightly earlier if the route becomes dangerous for pedestrians.
- 14th Street to Tybrisa Street and Tybrisa Street to Strand Avenue will remain closed after the parade for Public Works to remove barricades. The road will open as soon as complete.
