As of 3:31 PM today, Chatham County is under a flood watch until October 1 at 8:00 AM

We are also under a Hurricane Watch, Tropical Storm Warning and a Storm surge warning. We are at OPCON 2: Storm Readiness Phase.

We have no plans for mandatory evacuation at this time. Now is the time to activate your personal emergency plans.

The water is now closed to swimmers. Those who enter do so at their own risk. 

Garbage collection will begin early Friday morning. Trash carts must be in place the night before to ensure pick up.

Sand is available for Tybee Residents while supplies last. We will not have additional deliveries. Bring your own bags.

We are keeping everyone in our thoughts and prayers.
